Paragon Gents is a live adult dating web application that brings verified gay models and clients together on a secure, tiered-access platform. It features end-to-end identity verification, content moderation, subscription payments, and real-time messaging — all under one powerful system. The platform is designed to be mobile-optimized, visually premium, and completely safe.
Adult platforms are frequently targeted by bots, scams, and unverified profiles. Paragon Gents wanted to build the opposite: a space where models are verified with government ID, clients can chat and tip in real time, and admins have full control over who gets listed.

Many adult sites suffer from fake users and catfishing. We implemented a strict identity verification pipeline using ID scans, size verification, and admin checkpoints. This ensured trust, both for models and clients.
Adult content moderation isn’t easy. We built manual admin approval into every step, and added controls to flag or block anything inappropriate, even in private messages.
Adult users expect an instant response. We engineered a WebSocket-driven chat system with optimized events, media sharing, and live updates — all while staying lightweight and responsive.
Regular clients, elite clients, models, and elite gents — each with different permissions. We designed an intuitive access logic where the right users see the right content, without breaking the UX.
Users were coming from mobile, but the platform couldn’t feel like a stripped-down version. Using Tailwind CSS + Next.js, we made sure every feature — from tipping to real-time chat — worked beautifully across devices.
We started with a sprint-based approach — beginning with a lightweight MVP (chat, profiles, Stripe tips) and then layering in filters, role access, verification flows, and admin tools.
The backend was built using Node.js and Express, optimized for modular feature delivery. MongoDB handled scalable, flexible data, while Socket.IO enabled seamless real-time communication.
Each admin workflow — from profile approval to banning users — was tested with real scenarios. The result? A system where every piece of content, connection, and transaction is monitored, verified, and secured.
The frontend, powered by React and Tailwind, was responsive, elegant, and designed with a focus on discoverability and control. Even with sensitive content, the platform maintained class and consistency.
